Produced with grapes from the vineyards of Gorgaccio, in Capoliveri, Elba Island.

The vineyard, grown in Guyot, is the oldest vineyard in Alicante (Grenache) of the winery.

Alcohol content: 13%
Bottles currently produced: 2,000 bottles of 0.75l
Serving temperature: 15° C

Vinification and aging PAIRINGS

Vinification and aging:

manual harvesting, vinification in steel tanks with maceration on skins for 10 days;
refined for a period of 6 months in French oak tonneaux for the second passage.
Bottled a year after harvest, at the end of the summer.

Pairings:

characterized by a fruity aroma and fresh and non-aggressive tannins with a large, mineral based body.
This wine can be served at cool cellar temperature with typical Tuscan seafood dishes such as Cacciucco and cod.
It is also excellent with first courses with meat sauce and spicy condiments.
